Amy S. Provan, Psy.D. earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Loyola College of Maryland. She is currently working as the director of the counseling center at the College of Notre Dame. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Baltimore Veteran's Administration Medical Center, where she also served as a research coordinator for two independent studies evaluating measures of assessment for dementia.

Dr. Provan has experience working with a diverse range of populations and in a variety of settings, including an inpatient psychiatric hospital, outpatient mental health clinic, substance abuse, assisted living, nursing home, and a college counseling center. She specializes in the treatment of adolescents and adults with emotional, behavioral, and health concerns, and provides individual, group, and family therapy. Her interests include providing psychotherapy for individuals suffering from longstanding patterns of interpersonal difficulties, mood disorders, adjustment to life stressors, parenting issues, and helping families with children who have severe food allergies.
